You can update the email address and password associated with your account at any time from your settings. This article walks through both processes.
Changing your email address
Your email address is managed in Settings → Account Settings, in the Account section.
- Go to Settings → Account Settings and find the Email field under Account.
- Click into the field to open the Change Email Address dialog, enter your new email address, and click Send Verification Code.
- We'll send a 6-digit verification code to your new email address. Check that inbox and enter the code in the dialog, then click Verify Code. The code expires after 15 minutes — if it lapses, you can request a new one with Resend Code.
We will first verify the code against your new address to make sure you have access to it before switching your login over.
Changing your password
Your password is managed in Settings → Security, via the Reset Password option.
- Go to Settings → Security and find the Reset Password section.
- Click Send reset email. We'll email a password reset link to your registered email address.
- Open the email and click Reset Password. The link is valid for 60 minutes.
- On the reset page, enter and confirm your new password. Your password must be at least 8 characters and include one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. The strength indicator will confirm when your password meets the requirements.
- Click Reset password to save it.
