The Workplace Mental Health Programme (EAP) is how It's Complicated works with corporate partners to give their employees free access to counselling. Companies purchase packages that include a set number of sessions, for example 100, which their employees can then use at no cost through the platform. The aim is to make professional mental health support easy for employees to reach.
What being part of the programme means for you
As a therapist in the Workplace Mental Health Programme, you join a pool of practitioners offering counselling to the employees of our corporate partners. These sessions are paid for by the employer, so the employee accesses them for free. You will be featured in our Workplace Mental Health Directory, which employees see when they select EAP in the Session Cost filter. Alongside 1:1 sessions, you may also have opportunities to contribute to workshops, webinars and leadership training, as requested by our partners.
How to join
To get started, fill out the contract survey in Programme Settings, which you can open from your Directory dashboard. Once you submit it, we will review your profile and get in touch to make sure the programme is a good fit and that you understand how it works. After you are approved, you will be added to the programme and receive an automated welcome email confirming your participation, along with some further information to help you get going.
Please note that in order to join, you need an active It's Complicated subscription on either the Basic, Essential or Premium plan.
Managing your participation
You have full control over your involvement. You can pause, cancel or reactivate your participation at any time from Programme Settings in your Directory dashboard.
